Andy Morrison – Connah’s Quay
Last season’s manager of the season secured the championship for Connah’s Quay for the second consecutive season. This is the 5th trophy Connah’s Quay have won since Andy Morrison’s appointment in November 2015 with the club going from strength to strength domestically and in European competitions.
Oliver Byrne – Connah’s Quay
The young goalkeeper has kept 10 clean sheets and conceding only 14 goals in 22 appearances since earning his place as the club’s number 1 back in December 2020.
George Horan – Connah’s Quay
The Evergreen captain, George Horan opened the scoring in Connah’s Quay’s win over Pen-y-bont.
The defender has scored 7 goals this season and won Player of the Month in March.
Aeron Edwards – Connah’s Quay
Aeron Edwards made history over the weekend becoming the first player to win 10 Championships.
Edwards scored the second and assisted the first, a cross from the right wing for George Horan to head home the opener as The Nomads beat Pen-y-bony 0-2 to secure the Championship.
Danny Davies – Connah’s Quay
Danny Davies has impressed since joining Connah’s Quay from Prestatyn last summer, with the winger assisting 10 times and scoring 4 in his first season of the premiership.
He created the second goal in The Nomads’ victory on Saturday, a cross for Aeron Edwards to head home the second before the on field celebrations.
