The New Saints are top of the pile after winning each of their last seven games, following a goalless draw against Pen-y-bont on the opening weekend.
Flint Town United are one of the four clubs struggling near the bottom, with the other three all newly promoted sides (Trefelin, Ammanford and Holywell Town).

It has been a disappointing fortnight for Connah’s Quay, with John Disney’s side picking up just one point from their last two games (CQ 1-1 Hav, Bay 2-1 CQ).
Airbus will be more than happy with their start so far, having won four and lost four, with Mark Allen’s men sitting comfortably in mid-table.
A decade has passed since Airbus last beat Connah’s Quay on New Year’s Day 2016 (Air 3-2 CQ), and the Nomads have since won 13 consecutive games against their neighbours.
Just six miles separate Connah’s Quay and Broughton, and the Nomads have not lost against any of their fellow Flintshire clubs since January 2025 (Flint 2-1 CQ).

Llandudno (6th) v Caernarfon Town (3rd) | Tuesday – 19:45
It promises to be an exciting north Wales clash between two sides aiming to secure a place in the Top Six, and two teams very familiar with playing at Maesdu Park after Caernarfon set up camp at Maesdu while The Oval was being renovated last season.
Caernarfon Town are the league’s top scorers after averaging 2.9 goals per game in their opening eight matches, while striker Zack Clarke is comfortably clear at the top of the league’s scoring charts (9 goals).
Llandudno have made a solid start to their first season back in the top flight, and Jordan Hadaway’s side are on a remarkable run of 24 consecutive home victories at Maesdu Park (since losing 2-3 against Buckley in March 2025).
Llandudno have never beaten Caernarfon Town, but this will be the first meeting between the clubs since the 2018/19 season, when the two games ended in draws, with Sion Bradley scoring for the Cofis in both matches.

Pen-y-bont (4th) v Briton Ferry Llansawel (12th) | Tuesday – 19:45
Pen-y-bont remain unbeaten after their opening eight games (5 wins, 3 draws), and the Bont Blues will be hoping to challenge for European football once again this season.
Climbing out of the Bottom Six is the aim for Llansawel, with the club having lost four consecutive league games for the first time in two years.
The New Saints (3) are the only team to have conceded fewer goals than Pen-y-bont (5), while Rhys Griffiths’ side have conceded just twice at home in four games.
Pen-y-bont have not beaten Briton Ferry in a league game since August 2024, but the Blues defeated the Reds 5-0 in the second round of the Welsh Cup last season.

After winning the Cymru South title last season, Trefelin’s results have been disappointing this year, and Andy Hill’s side are still waiting for their first victory in the top flight (2 draws, 6 defeats).
Despite finishing one place below Trefelin at the end of last season, Cambrian United have made a much better start to their first top-flight campaign, losing just twice so far (against Connah’s Quay and Barry Town United).
No team has scored fewer goals than Trefelin (3), while Cambrian United have found the net 12 times, with their star man Liam Eason accounting for half of those goals (6).
The clubs are very familiar with each other from their time in the second tier, and Cambrian came out on top in the most recent meeting between the two sides, winning 4-0 at Ynys Park in March.

Holywell Town (16th) v Colwyn Bay (8th) | Tuesday – 19:45
Holywell Town have had a disastrous start to the season, picking up just one point from a possible 24, but fortunately for them, there are four other clubs still waiting to claim their first three points.
Despite being slow out the blocks, a win on Tuesday could potentially lift Holywell Town out of the relegation zone, and that will be the target for John Haseldin’s side.
It was a sweet victory for Colwyn Bay on Saturday as they defeated Connah’s Quay 2-1, with several members of the Seagulls’ squad coming up against their former club, and Michael Wilde will be determined to secure back-to-back victories for the first time since March.
The teams met on several occasions in the second tier, with their most recent encounters coming in the 2024/25 season, when Colwyn Bay won 2-0 both home and away before securing promotion to the top flight.

Barry Town United (2nd) v Ammanford (15th) | Tuesday – 19:45
Barry Town United’s outstanding season continues, with the Dragons winning seven of their eight games so far, their only defeat coming against champions The New Saints.
Barry Town forwards Elliot Dugan and Owen Brain have both scored six goals each, filling the boots of Ieuan Owen and Ollie Hulbert with ease.
Things have not gone quite as well for Ammanford, who have scored just four goals, with the newcomers slipping into the relegation zone after failing to win any of their opening eight games.
The clubs have not met since the 2022/23 season in the Cymru South, when Lee Trundle scored three goals across two games for Ammanford against Barry Town (Amman 3-2 Barry, Barry 1-1 Amman).

Flint Town have not beaten The New Saints for 31 years, and in the last eight meetings between the clubs, the Saints have averaged 5.25 goals per game, including emphatic victories of 8-1, 7-0 and 6-2.
