The New Saints have won their 16th Cymru Premier title – their in a row – after they beat Cardiff Met 4-0 on Saturday.
The Saints were 17 points clear at the summit before the game and managed to lift the trophy after Gei Connah stumbled against Y Bala on Friday night which meant that The Saints were able to seal the championship on Saturday.
The New Saints have won the domestic treble twice in a row between 2014-16 under the leadership of Craig Harrison, but winning the ‘quadruple’ for the first time is the achievement this year, and trying to go through the whole season without losing a domestic game.
