The New Saints v Connah’s Quay | Tuesday – 19:45

A mouth-watering match in the race for the championship between the two clubs who have set the standard over the last few seasons.

Champions Connah’s Quay lead the pack after winning six consecutive top flight games for the first time in their history.

The Nomads were the winners in the last meeting between the sides at a windy Deeside Stadium – Craig Curran netting the all-important goal that eventually led to the Nomads’ first ever championship title.

But Connah’s Quay haven’t had much luck at Park Hall in recent years as they haven’t won away against The New Saints in 25 years (October 1995).

Connah’s Quay’s record at Park Hall under Andy Morrison – Played 8: Won 0, Drawn 1, Lost 7 – Scored 2, Conceded 16.

The New Saints are on a mission to regain the league title, and after winning their opening six fixtures without conceding a goal, they are certainly on the right track.

Bala Town v Barry Town | Wednesday – 19:45

Bala find themselves with three games in hand following postponements, but after hitting five past Aberystwyth on Saturday, Colin Caton’s men are determined to close the gap on the top three.

Like Bala, Barry have only lost once this season and Gavin Chesterfield’s Dragons are ready to pounce if the top two slip up.

The last two fixtures between these sides ended in draws, but Barry have a good record away at Bala and haven’t lost on any of their last three visits to Maes Tegid (won 2, drawn 1).

Highlights will be on Sgorio’s social media accounts on Thursday afternoon.
