Flint Town United will hope that it’s a case of third time lucky as they look to host Caernarfon Town at the third time of asking following two postponements in the last two weeks.

Flint Town United (3rd) v Caernarfon Town (7th) | Tuesday – 19:45

Flint Town United will be looking to put the disappointment of Saturday’s 2-0 loss at Newtown behind them as the Silkmen lost their 2nd place spot for the first time since October.

Caernarfon Town were also left frustrated over the weekend as the Cofis let a 2-0 lead slip against Aberystwyth Town and had to settle for a point at the Oval.

Looking back on recent years, the average total needed to get into to the Top Six at the split has been 32 points and Flint Town United could reach that target this Tuesday with a win against Caernarfon Town.

But the Silkmen haven’t won at home against Caernarfon Town since 2009 with the Canaries victorious on each of their last five visits to Cae-y-Castell.

Ex-Cofi frontman Jack Kenny has already netted 11 league goals for Flint Town United this season, while his strike partner Michael Wilde has 12 goals to his name – the only club who have two players on double figures.

A win for the Canaries would leave them only a point adrift of Bala Town (6th) ahead of their Christmas double-header next week.

League form:

Flint Town United: ✅➖❌✅❌

Caernarfon Town: ✅❌✅❌➖

Highlights will be available on Sgorio’s online accounts.
