S4C to live stream opening match of U21 qualifying campaign
Cymru’s first match of the UEFA U21 EURO 2023 qualifying round will be live streamed by S4C when they face Moldova on Friday 4 June at Stebonheath Park, Llanelli (19:30 KO).
Paul Bodin’s side hope to become the first Cymru U21 team to reach a major tournament after being drawn against the Netherlands, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Moldova and Gibraltar in the qualifying round.
S4C will make the match available to watch on S4C Clic and the Sgorio Facebook and Youtube pages, with Welsh language commentary.
Cymru U21s last played in Stebonheath Park in February 2013, when a team containing current Cymru internationals Danny Ward, Jonny Williams and Tom Lawrence beat Iceland 3-0 in a friendly match.
With all fixtures scheduled to be played behind-closed-doors for the foreseeable future, the FAW will continue to adhere to Government guidelines and liaise with relevant authorities. Supporters will be notified should arrangements change and tickets become available
