Friday, 6 November

Cambrian United (9th) v Barry Town United (6th) | Friday – 19:45

After losing four consecutive league matches, Cambrian United are in danger of slipping into the Bottom Six.

Liam Williams’ side have conceded an average of 3.4 goals per game away from home, while conceding less than half that figure in their home matches in the Rhondda (1.6 goals per game).

Following a three-point haul against Trefelin last weekend, Barry Town United will be hoping to secure back-to-back victories for the first time since August.

Barry Town have won their last five meetings with Cambrian United, including a late victory at Jenner Park on the opening weekend of this season (Barr 2-1 Cam).

Haverfordwest County (11th) v Cardiff Met (8th) | Friday – 19:45

Following three consecutive victories in all competitions, Haverfordwest County will be looking to continue their good run and climb out of the Bottom Six for the first time this season.

Cardiff Met have won just two of their last nine league matches, but Ryan Jenkins’ squad have been strong away from home, conceding an impressive average of just 0.7 goals per game on their travels.

Sam Snaith scored the only goal for the students in the reverse fixture in September, as Cardiff Met secured their first league victory over Haverfordwest County in 11 attempts.

Cardiff Met have not won a league match away at the Bridge Meadow since April 2022, when Kyle McCarthy scored a spectacular winning goal for the Archers, which was subsequently named the 2021/22 Goal of the Season (Hav 1-2 Met).

Llandudno (10th) v The New Saints (1st) | Friday – 19:45

It looks set to be a difficult evening for Llandudno, who have lost their last six league matches.

Llandudno won five of their opening seven matches, but Jordan Hadaway’s side have struggled since then, collecting just one point from their last eight league games and scoring just once in their last four league outings.

The New Saints remain six points clear at the top of the table and are still unbeaten following their goalless draw against Connah’s Quay on Halloween night.

That was Nathan Shepperd’s 10th clean sheet in 15 league appearances this season, with the Saints having conceded just six goals so far (0.4 goals per game).

The clubs have met on 16 occasions, with the Saints winning 15 of those encounters and drawing the other, meaning Llandudno have never beaten the Oswestry outfit.

Pen-y-bont (3rd) v Caernarfon Town (4th) | Friday – 19:45

Pen-y-bont have won eight of their last nine matches and are keeping close tabs on the two sides above them, Connah’s Quay and The New Saints.

Pen-y-bont recorded their biggest-ever away victory in the Cymru Premier last Saturday, thrashing Cardiff Met 5-0 at Cyncoed Campus, with Tom Mehew starring for the Dragons by scoring a hat-trick.

Caernarfon Town will be disappointed to have lost against Airbus last Friday, their first defeat to the club since 2009, and Richard Davies will be expecting a response from his squad.

Pen-y-bont have not lost any of their five home league matches this season (W5, D2), but no team has collected more points away from home than Caernarfon (17 points).

Pen-y-bont came out on top in the reverse fixture at the Oval in August (Cfon 1-2 Pen), thanks to goals from Tom Mehew and Ryan Hill.

Ammanford (14th) v Briton Ferry Llansawel (12th) | Friday – 19:45

Hefty crowds of more than 1,000 supporters have turned out to watch the last two meetings between these sides, and another entertaining battle is expected when Ammanford and Briton Ferry Llansawel meet in the Bottom Six on Friday.

Ammanford have won just one of their seven home league matches this season, while Briton Ferry Llansawel have managed just one victory in eight away games.

Having scored just once in their last three league matches, Ammanford need to find their shooting boots, and that task will be even harder following the dismissal of their leading scorer, Jonathan Evans, against Haverfordwest County last Friday.

Ollie Anderson came to the rescue for Llansawel in the reverse fixture on the opening weekend of the season, scoring twice to secure victory for the Reds (BFL 2-1 Aman).

Trefelin (15th) v Colwyn Bay (5th) | Friday – 19:45

No team has scored fewer goals than Trefelin this season (8 goals in 15 matches), and the newly promoted side remain in the relegation zone having won just once so far.

Colwyn Bay have won seven of their last 10 league matches, but the Seagulls have not been at their best away from home, winning just two of their seven matches on the road.

Trefelin have the worst home record in the league after collecting just one point from seven home matches and scoring only twice.

Jordan Davies and Adam Davies scored for Colwyn Bay in the reverse fixture on the opening weekend of the season, securing all three points for Michael Wilde’s side (Bay 2-0 Tfl).

Trefelin: ͏❌❌✅❌❌

Colwyn Bay: ͏✅❌✅➖✅

Holywell Town (16th) v Airbus UK (7th) | Friday – 19:45

Holywell Town’s miserable season continues, with the newly promoted side having collected just two points from their 14 matches so far and still waiting for their first victory.

Airbus, on the other hand, are flying towards the Top Six after securing five victories in their last six league matches.

Following their victory over Caernarfon last Friday, just two points now separate Airbus (7th) and Caernarfon (4th).

George Peers scored twice against the Cofis to move clear at the top of the league’s leading goalscorers chart, with 16 goals in 15 matches.

Airbus have lost just one of their last eight meetings with Holywell Town (W5, D2), and the reverse fixture was an entertaining encounter in August, when the Broughton bunch ran out 6-2 winners at the Airfield.

Connah’s Quay Nomads (2nd) v Flint Town United (13th) | Friday – 20:00

Connah’s Quay brought The New Saints’ run of 14 consecutive victories to an end with a goalless draw at Park Hall on Halloween night.

That result means the Nomads remain six points behind the league leaders, having won six consecutive league matches before John Disney’s side travelled to Oswestry.

Connah’s Quay are unbeaten in their last seven matches in all competitions (W6, D1), conceding just twice during that period.

A strong defence has also been the foundation for Flint Town United’s improved results since the appointment of their new manager, with the Silkmen conceding just once in five league matches since Danny Holmes took charge.

Flint Town United have won just one of their last 18 derbies against Connah’s Quay, with the Nomads winning the last four encounters.

Callum West was the hero for Connah’s Quay in the reverse fixture in August, scoring twice for the Nomads, including a stunning strike from the halfway line (FTU 1-2 CQ).
