There’s no time to rest for the Cymru Premier sides who prepare for another full set of fixtures on Tuesday night, including the live game between Connah’s Quay and Caernarfon on Facebook and Youtube at 19:45.

Connah’s Quay v Caernarfon | Tuesday – 19:45 (Facebook / Youtube)
Champions Connah’s Quay Nomads are leading the way after four consecutive victories in the JD Cymru Premier.

Caernarfon have won half their league games this season – a sturdy start considering the influential depaartures over the summer (Alex Ramsay, Nathan Craig, Leo Smith, Jamie Breese etc).

Connah’s Quay haven’t lost at the Deeside Stadium in over a year and a half (0-2 vs TNS in March 2019), and the Nomads have put 14 past Caernarfon in their last three meetings at Deeside (CQ 4-0 Cfon / CQ 4-2 Cfon / CQ 6-2 Cfon).

Cefn Druids v Aberystwyth | Tuesday – 19:45
Bruno Lopes has had a tough start to life as Cefn Druids manager after picking up only one point from their opening five fixtures.

Only goal difference separates Aberystwyth from the relegation zone and Gavin Allen was clearly frustrated that his side missed a glorious opportunity to beat 10-man Barry Town on Saturday.

2-2 was the result between these two at the Rock in the final game of last season, which turned out to be Stuart Gelling’s last game in charge of the Druids.

Haverfordwest v Pen-y-bont | Tuesday – 19:45
Both sides were celebrating great results over the weekend as they picked up vital wins against Bala Town and Newtown, and building on those performances will be the aim this Tuesday.

Haverfordwest are up to 10th and will be looking to open some breathing space above the bottom two, while a win for Pen-y-bont could give them real hopes of possibly claiming a Top Six spot this season.

The clubs have been old foes in the Cymru South for years, but this will be their first ever meeting in the Welsh top flight.

Barry Town v Cardiff Met | Tuesday – 19:45
After a disappointing collapse in Europe over the summer followed by an opening weekend defeat to TNS, Barry Town have managed to turn the corner and the Dragons have now won four games on the bounce and are only one point from top spot.

Cardiff Met have felt the absence of three influential attackers who have left the club over the last year (Adam Roscrow, Will Evans, Jordan Lam) as the Archers have the worst scoring record in the league (4 goals in 6 games).

After beating Aberystwyth on the opening weekend the students have had disappointing draws against Haverfordwest and Cefn Druids and lost to TNS, Pen-y-bont and Caernarfon.

Cardiff Met haven’t won away against Barry since knocking the Dragons out the League Cup three years ago, but the students have never won at Jenner Park in the Cymru Premier.

Flint Town v Bala Town | Tuesday – 19:45
These two teams will be looking to bounce back following their frustrating results on Saturday – Bala Town losing at home to Haverfordwest, and Flint were blown away by the Saints.

There’s been more than a decade since the last league meeting between these two clubs, but they have met on many occasion in the cup over the last four years with Flint claiming the latest victory in last season’s Welsh Cup third round (Flint 2-0 Bala).

Only a point separate the clubs in mid-table, but Bala do have games in hand as they’re 2-2 draw with TNS will have to replayed as the floodlights failed in the 88th minute last Wednesday.

The New Saints v Newtown | Tuesday – 19:45
The New Saints are on a mission to regain the league title, and after winning their opening four fixtures without conceding a goal, they are certainly on the right track.

Greg Draper became TNS’ all time leading goal scorer in the Cymru Premier as he hit five against Flint on Saturday to bring his tally up to an impressive 156 league goals.

Newtown have had a miserable start to the season, winning only one of their opening six matches despite only facing one of last season’s Top Six so far (Cfon).

The Robins came out on top in the last league meeting between these sides back in February, but TNS got their revenge a couple of weeks later, thrashing them 6-1 in the Welsh Cup quarter finals.

Highlights of all matches will be on Mwy o Sgorio this Wednesday at 10:00.
