Following the midweek matches, The New Saints have moved three points clear at the top of the table after beating Flint Town United 5-0 to extend their winning run to eight consecutive victories.
It was a frustrating night for Barry Town United, who conceded a late penalty against Ammanford and ultimately had to settle for a point (Barry 2-2 Ammanford).
At the bottom of the table, there are four teams yet to win any of their opening nine games, and as we are now a quarter of the way through the season, the managers will be desperate to secure victories this weekend.

Flint Town United have endured a difficult start to the season, picking up just two points from a possible 27, and the Silkmen are one of four teams still waiting for their first victory.
Flint Town United narrowly avoided relegation last season, and Lee Fowler’s side are fortunate that three other teams are struggling near the bottom, with only two teams guaranteed to go down again this year.
This will be Airbus’ second derby in the space of three days, after they suffered a 3-0 defeat against Connah’s Quay on Tuesday night.
Despite the defeat, Airbus are 10 points above Flint Town United, and the Broughton bunch are the only club yet to record a draw this season.
These clubs met in the third round of the Welsh Cup last season, with Flint Town winning 1-0 at Cae y Castell thanks to a Ben Wynne goal.

Colwyn Bay (7th) v Barry Town United (2nd) | Friday – 19:45
It was a memorable night for Colwyn Bay on Tuesday as the Seagulls recorded their biggest-ever victory in the top flight, beating Holywell Town 5-0 at Halkyn Road, with all five goals coming in the first half.
Michael Wilde will be hoping to break another record on Friday by leading Colwyn Bay to three consecutive top-flight victories for the first time in their history.
Colwyn Bay and The New Saints are the only two clubs with a 100% home record this season, so it will be a tough test for Barry Town.
Steve Jenkins will be disappointed to have dropped points at home against Ammanford on Tuesday, having led 2-0 at Jenner Park (Barry 2-2 Ammanford).
Although Barry Town finished higher than Colwyn Bay last season, it was the Seagulls who had the better of the head-to-head record, beating the Dragons twice after the split.

The Cofis have dropped to fifth place following their 1-1 away draw against Llandudno on Tuesday night.
Caernarfon Town are the league’s top scorers after averaging 2.7 goals per game so far, and alongside Connah’s Quay, they are the only clubs to have scored in every league match this season.
Cambrian United have climbed into the top half following a four-game unbeaten run (2 wins, 2 draws), and Liam Williams will be delighted with how his squad have coped with the challenges of the top flight so far.
This will be the first-ever meeting between the two clubs, and it should be an exciting occasion as two of the league’s leading goalscorers go head-to-head, with Zack Clarke (9 goals) and Liam Eason (8 goals) leading the race for the Golden Boot this season.

After a strong start to the season, Cardiff Met have slowed down slightly, dropping to ninth place following draws against Cambrian United and Flint Town United.
Ryan Jenkins’ side had a midweek break while the other clubs were in action, and that could prove beneficial for the Archers.
Connah’s Quay have climbed to fourth place after beating Airbus (Connah’s Quay 3-0 Airbus), with Callum West once again scoring and creating a goal to take his total goal contributions for the season to 13 (6 goals, 7 assists).
Connah’s Quay have lost just one of their last six games against Cardiff Met, while the students have never won a league match away against the Nomads.

Holywell Town have endured a disastrous start to the season, picking up just one point from a possible 27, but fortunately for them, there are four other clubs still waiting to claim their first three points.
Despite their slow start, a victory on Friday could lift Holywell Town out of the relegation zone, and that will be the target for John Haseldin’s side.
After a disappointing start to the campaign, the mood has lifted at Haverfordwest County, with the Bluebirds unbeaten in their last three outings.
This will be the first meeting between the clubs since the 1998/99 season, when Haverfordwest County won 7-2 at home against Holywell Town before losing 4-0 at Halkyn Road in May 1999.

It will be a crucial local derby in the Swansea outskirts between two clubs who are in a rut in the Bottom Six.

After winning the Cymru South title last season, Trefelin’s results have been poor this year, with Andy Hill’s side still waiting for their first top-flight victory (2 draws, 7 defeats).
Briton Ferry Llansawel have won their last five meetings with Trefelin, but this will be the first time the clubs have faced each other in the top flight.

Pen-y-bont remain unbeaten after their first nine games (6 wins, 3 draws), and the Blues will be hoping to compete for European qualification once again this year.
Ammanford have the worst home record in the league, picking up just one point from four games at The Rec, scoring two goals and conceding 14.
Ammanford caused a major upset four years ago by beating Pen-y-bont 1-2 in the third round of the Nathaniel MG Cup at Bryntirion, which remains the only previous meeting between the clubs.
