Sgorio pick five players that have stood out over the weekend

Oliver Byrne – Connah’s Quay

A vital save from an Owain Jones shot from the Connah’s Quay keeper as The Nomads beat Aberystwyth 1-0 at the Deeside Stadium.

Byrne is the only keeper to keep two clean sheets after two games this season.

 

Blaine Hudson – The New Saints

The defender scored and assisted on his 100th start in the Cymru Premier.

The New Saints won 5-3 at Park Hall against Caernarfon with The Saints scoring nine in their two of Cymru Premier fixtures.

 

Sam Parsons – Llanelli

The left-back scored a wonderful 25-yard strike as Llanelli beat Carmarthen 2-0 at Stebonheath Park.

This is Parsons’ first goal for the reds, with Dai celebrating behind the goal!

 

Gwion Dafydd – Caernarfon

Gwion Dafydd marked his his first team appearance for Caernarfon last week with an assist in the win over Haverfordwest, with the 16 year old scoring his first goal for the club against The New Saints on Saturday.

 

Michael Wilde – Flint Town

Michael wilde climbs up to third on the all-time scorers chart with 211 goals after his hat-trick against Cefn Druids on Saturday.

The striker has now scored five goals in two league games for Flint since joining from Connah’s Quay, with Neil Gibson’s men currently top of the league.
