Cardiff Met (6th) v Briton Ferry Llansawel (10fed) | Tuesday – 19:45

Following the disappointment of losing against Caernarfon in the fourth round of the Welsh Cup over the weekend, Cardiff Met will turn their attention to the race for the Top Six in the JD Cymru Premier.

With four games to play until the split, Cardiff Met are sitting in that crucial 6th position, and a victory against Briton Ferry Llansawel on Tuesday night would lift them above Colwyn Bay to 5th place.

31 points is the usual amount needed to claim a spot in the Top Six, and therefore two wins from their last four games should be enough for Cardiff Met to reach that target.

Final fixtures before the split:

Cardiff Met: BFL (h), BARR (a), HAV (h), PEN (a) ͏

Briton Ferry Llansawel: MET (a), CQ (a), PEN (a), BARR (h), HAV (a) ͏

Briton Ferry Llansawel are level on points with Flint Town United (11th), but if the Reds win their game in hand, then Andy Dyer’s men would climb to 8th place.

Briton Ferry have only won one of their last eight matches (D1, L6), and the Reds have a tough run of fixtures ahead of them before the split.

Scoring goals has been the main problem for Llansawel since the start of October as they’ve only netted six goals in their last 10 outings.

It ended 1-1 in the reverse fixture at the Old Road back in August with Ruben Davies putting Briton Ferry ahead before Jasper Payne hit back for the Archers against his former club.

League form:

Cardiff Met: ͏✅❌✅➖✅

Briton Ferry Llansawel: ͏❌❌✅➖❌

Highlights will be available on Sgorio’s online platforms.
