The New Saints remain three points clear of Connah’s Quay with this game in hand, and Craig Harrison will be keen to open up some further daylight between themselves and the Nomads on Tuesday night.
A 2-0 triumph over Bala Town on Saturday evening has extended the Saints’ unbeaten run to 19 games without defeat in all competitions (won 17, drawn two).
But it’s a different story at Colwyn Bay, who have gone five league games without a win (drawn one, lost four), and are now level on points with bottom-of-the-table, Aberystwyth Town.
These two teams have only met twice previously, with those two encounters ending in a 1-0 TNS victory, but Colwyn Bay boss, Steve Evans will be eager to impress as he returns to face the club where he won seven championships as a player.
