Cardiff Met (10th) v Briton Ferry Llansawel (8th) | Monday – 19:45

Because of problems with the floodlights last month, the original match between these two teams was postponed, but the game will now be played tonight.

Cardiff Met are in a dangerous position, sitting five points above the relegation places after a miserable run of 10 matches without a win (six draws, four defeats).

Since beating The New Saints twice in November, Cardiff Met have managed just one victory in 12 games (against Llanelli Town).

Remarkably, only the top two — The New Saints and Connah’s Quay Nomads — have lost fewer games than Cardiff Met in the league this season (8 out of 27).

However, the Archers have drawn far too many matches (13 out of 27).

Briton Ferry Llansawel, on the other hand, will be full of confidence, having lost just one of their last eight matches (five wins, two draws).

Andy Dyer’s side will be looking up the table as they attempt to close the four-point gap to Haverfordwest County.

Thomas Walters is enjoying a strong season for Llansawel, and among the Bottom Six clubs no player has contributed to more goals than the Reds’ forward (9 goals, 9 assists).

Former Ferry forward Jasper Payne is Cardiff Met’s top scorer this season with six league goals, two of which came against his former club earlier in the campaign in two drawn matches.

League form:

Cardiff Met: ❌➖➖➖❌
Briton Ferry Llansawel: ͏✅❌➖✅✅

Highlights will be available on Sgorio’s online platforms.
