Caernarfon Town will host Flint Town United on Tuesday night in the hunt for European football, while the battle to avoid relegation continues in the Bottom Six.

TOP SIX

Caernarfon Town (6th) v Flint Town United (5th) | Tuesday – 19:45

There’s only one point separating Caernarfon Town and Flint Town United in the race for the runners-up spot and both clubs will be eager to bounce back after suffering defeats on Friday night.

Caernarfon Town lost heavily to Newtown (0-4), and the Cofis have now gone eight games without a win at The Oval, picking up just two points in those home games.

But Flint Town United are also in a bit of a rut as their 3-2 loss at Bala Town extended their run to six games without a victory.

The two meetings between these sides in Phase One of the season were exciting affairs with the Silkmen winning 3-2 at the Oval in October thanks to an 89th minute winner from Michael Wilde, before the Canaries got their own back at Cae-y-Castell with a 4-3 away win in December.

BOTTOM SIX

Aberystwyth Town (9th) v Haverfordwest County (8th) | Tuesday – 19:45

After winning three consecutive top-flight games for the first time since 2010, Haverfordwest County have climbed above Aberystwyth Town and are now eight points clear of the drop zone.

Aberystwyth Town have gone four games without a win and are six points from safety with some tough games ahead.

Haverfordwest County are the only JD Cymru Premier side not to score against Aberystwyth Town this season (Hav 0-0 Aber, Aber 2-0 Hav) and the Bluebirds haven’t won at Park Avenue in six years.

Connah’s Quay (11th) v Cefn Druids (12th) | Tuesday – 19:45

With three wins and a draw from their last four games, Connah’s Quay are now only three points behind Barry Town United and the safety of the 10th position.

After finishing bottom last season, the Ancients were lucky to avoid the drop, but after an atrocious run of 33 league games without a win, Cefn Druids could confirm their relegation this week.

Connah’s Quay won their two games against the Druids in the first phase of the season, and the Nomads haven’t lost at home against the Rock outfit in over a decade.

Cardiff Met (7th) v Barry Town United (10th) | Tuesday – 19:45

At Cyncoed Campus, Cardiff Met will be looking to beat Barry Town United for the fifth time this season.

Since September the Archers have seen off the Dragons in the Welsh Cup, the Nathaniel MG Cup and twice in the league.

Cardiff Met are on a run of 10 league games without defeat, while the Barry Town boys have lost eight of their last 10 and are in genuine danger of slipping into the relegation zone.
