The first phase of the season has come to an end, which gives us an opportunity to look at who has stood out in terms of the statistics charts.

TOP SCORERS

Two young players lead the way with 10 goals each, Rhys Hughes from Connah’s Quay and Louis Lloyd from Caernarfon Town.

After signing for Connah’s Quay from Tranmere Rovers over the summer, Rhys Hughes has certainly caught the eye with 10 league goals, and the 23-year-old has also created three goals which puts him among the players who have contributed the most goals this season.

Louis Lloyd has started the season strongly and the Cofi Army will remember his winning away goal against The New Saints for years to come.

Four of Lloyd’s goals have come from the penalty spot, and he is yet to make an assist this season, but there is certainly more to come from the exciting 21-year-old winger.

Another one who has shone is The New Saints’ frontman, Aradime Oteh who has scored nine goals since joining the champions from Walsall over the summer, despite only starting nine league games during the first phase of the season.
