The first phase of the season has come to an end, which gives us an opportunity to look at who has stood out in terms of the statistics charts.
TOP SCORERS
Two young players lead the way with 10 goals each, Rhys Hughes from Connah’s Quay and Louis Lloyd from Caernarfon Town.
After signing for Connah’s Quay from Tranmere Rovers over the summer, Rhys Hughes has certainly caught the eye with 10 league goals, and the 23-year-old has also created three goals which puts him among the players who have contributed the most goals this season.
Louis Lloyd has started the season strongly and the Cofi Army will remember his winning away goal against The New Saints for years to come.
Four of Lloyd’s goals have come from the penalty spot, and he is yet to make an assist this season, but there is certainly more to come from the exciting 21-year-old winger.
Another one who has shone is The New Saints’ frontman, Aradime Oteh who has scored nine goals since joining the champions from Walsall over the summer, despite only starting nine league games during the first phase of the season.

There is one player well ahead on the list of creators and that is Zeli Ismail from Newtown, who has made 13 assists for the Robins this season.
12 of those 13 assists came before the end of October, and so Ismail will need to rediscover his previous form if he wants to help Newtown avoid the drop this year.
James Crole from Pen-y-bont and Jake Phillips from Flint Town United are next on the list with both having created seven goals each during the first phase.

Haverfordwest County’s Zac Jones leads the race for the Golden Glove as the 24-year-old goalkeeper from New Zealand kept 12 clean sheets in 22 games in the first phase of the season, lifting the club into the Top Six for the first time in the league’s 12-team era.
Joel Torrance from Bala Town is second on the list after keeping 10 clean sheets to date, which includes five goalless games in the first part of the season.

With 14 goal contributions James Crole from Pen-y-bont is at the top of the list, level with Zeli Ismail who is also at the top after creating so many goals.
James Crole, aged 20, has scored and created seven goals for Pen-y-bont this season and has been instrumental in their success this year.
Zack Clarke is also among the names at the top of the list which proves why The New Saints have been so keen to attract him from Caernarfon to Oswestry.
Flint Town United will certainly feel the loss of striker Florian Yonsian who left the Essity Stadium in January but is yet to sign with a new club.
