In a dramatic afternoon on the final day of the season, where Connah’s Quay or the New Saints had a chance to win the league, Andy Morrison’s team beat Pen-y-bont 0-2 and won the Welsh Premier League for the second consecutive season .

George Horan scored within the first five minutes before Aeron Edwards sealed the victory with a header after 75 minutes of play.

Aeron Edwards won his 10th Championship, the first to win more than nine in the league’s history..

The focus of the champions will now turn to the Champions League over the summer, with the qualifying round draw set to be held on the 8th of June.
