Sgorio’s 5-on-form for the opening week of the 2020/21 Cymru Premier.
Steven Hall – Haverfordwest County
The Bluebirds are back in the Cymru Premier for the first time since 2015 and start their campaign with a 0-0 draw at Cardiff Met.
Goalkeeper Steven Hall was vital in the draw with a fine save to prevent Harry Warwick in the first half.
Nathan Craig – Flint Town
Flint Town win their first game back in the Cymru Premier since falling from the league in 1998.
New signing Nathan Craig was influential in the win, a trademark left footed free kick beating Newtown goalkeeper Dave Jones.
Leo Smith – The New Saints
TNS win their opening league fixture at Jenner Park, with Lea Smith scoring on his league debut.
Smith also scored in the mid-week Europa League loss to B36 Torshavn, TNS losing 5-4 on penalties after an initial 2-2 draw.
Mike Hayes – Caernarfon
Hayes scored on his home debut in Caernarfon’s draw with Pen-y-bont, a powerful shot from outside of the area beating Ashley Morris, the Pen-y-bont goalkeeper.
Hayes proved an influential figure in Caernarfon’s 2-3 win over Newtown in the mid-week fixture, setting up Sion Bradley for the Cofis’ second.
Nathan Wood – Pen-y-bont
A thunderous strike from the Pen-y-bont forward opened the scoring in the mid-week draw with Aberystwyth.
Wood created many chances in the second half, and could have scored his second but for a fine save by Aberystwyth goalkeeper, Alex Pennock.
